Player reports give staff evidence they can use to investigate harmful behaviour. A report can earn Honour only when it makes a distinct useful contribution, staff accept the report, and the investigation results in a warning, restriction, or punishment.
What makes a useful report
- identify the player, incident, approximate time, and affected server when known;
- describe what happened plainly and separate direct observation from assumptions;
- attach original evidence or a materially useful detail that staff can verify; and
- submit through the official reporting channel without confronting or harassing the reported player.
Copying an existing report does not earn Honour. A later report about the same incident can qualify when it contributes distinct evidence or information that materially helps the investigation. An honest duplicate or mistaken good-faith report is not punished merely because staff dismiss it.
Character assignment
If a character is selected when an account-level report is submitted, any later Honour reward is locked to that character. If no character was selected, an eligible reward is held after staff approval until the player makes a one-time choice of receiving character. Applied report Honour cannot be moved between characters.
Moderation privacy
Staff may confirm that a report was reviewed without disclosing private evidence, account history, or the exact action taken against another player. Honour eligibility does not entitle the reporter to confidential moderation details.
Staff decide which warnings, restrictions, temporary bans, and permanent bans lower the offender's Honour. After a successful appeal, staff explicitly decide whether Honour is restored and whether any related report reward remains valid.
Misuse
Knowingly fabricated reports, manipulated evidence, coordinated false reporting, and reports used to harass somebody can lower Honour and lead to moderation. Honest uncertainty should be stated in the report rather than presented as fact.
