The Mimic is a hostile entity encounter. It hunts through movement, sound, and deceptive presentation, so players should confirm identity and position instead of following a voice or silhouette blindly. The encounter is authoritative on the active shard and can interact with the same rescue and survival pressure as other hostile threats.
Encounter behaviour
Where a player has explicitly consented through the BackroomsMMO account controls, a Mimic encounter may use a short saved voice clip. Voice chat can remain enabled while Mimic recording is disabled.
